Travel: Getting around Durham

Durham is a small city, which can be covered within 30 minutes walk from one end to the other. It is, however, quite steep in some places, particularly from the city centre to the college accommodation. As an alternative to walking, you might want to use a bus or taxi service.

A bus service operates every 15 minutes along South Road with stops near the Calman Learning Centre and the Marriott hotel. For more information including timetables and bus stop maps search for the number 6 bus service at: www.arrivabus.co.uk/north-east/.
